Project: Independence - Ride Share Workshop

Tualatin Valley Elks Lodge is hosting a community workshop. 

RIDE SHARE USE! Saturday, June 1st, 2024 2 – 5 PM 8350 SW Warm Springs Street 

ARE YOU: 

• having to ask for rides from family and friends all the time, 

• do you find driving at night more difficult, 

• is mass transit not convent for your schedule, 

• are you plan on doing some traveling and a rental car is more expensive than it is warranted. 

WE WOULD LIKE TO HELP! 

Required: a smart phone. We will provide instructions and assist in programming the APPS to your phone. We will have people who drive for Uber and Lyft to answer your questions. We will have people who use Lyft and Uber to share their experiences. We will cover what is required to be a driver for Uber or Lyft. We will share some safety guidelines for using Lyft or Uber. We will discuss how do you pay, tip, or rate your Uber or Lyft experience.
